Capturing moments:  Cloud Spaces unleashes the power of image through a photography showcase

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, March 14th, 2022 - Cloud Spaces, the trendy coworking facility at Yas Mall, is hosting a stunning photography showcase to tap into the talents of exceptionally skilled photographers.

Taking place from 8th to 11th March, the display has now been extended till 8PM until Wednesday, 16th March for visitors to enjoy. Reflecting the dynamism and skills of image-makers while providing them a platform to proudly exhibit their collections, the exhibit features landscape, wildlife photography and even portraits. The curated artworks urge guests to explore the creativity of the artists behind the lens while also appreciating the expansive boundaries of art.

Malak Smejkalova, General Manager of Cloud Spaces says: “Cloud Spaces is no stranger to supporting the creative community and the dazzling approaches of the artists at work. For this showcase we were keen on unleashing the power of images and also the boundless talent of photographers that are present within the community. These showcases are just one of the many ways we show our support to the remarkable artists.”

A collective of 14 photographers will be contributing to the exhibit and showcasing the power of an image. Included in the display are works of Khalifa Al Mazrouei, Emirati adventurer for National Geographic Arabia, who is on a mission to present to the world the splendor and beauty of wildlife found around the UAE. His works are inspired by the time he spends around the country’s landscapes. Also sharing memories of her adventures is wildlife photographer, Maria Salanova capturing the vibrant wildlife and curious creatures thriving in the deserts of the UAE.

Meanwhile, fine-art photographer Mohammed Aldhaheri will present his unusually striking and creative portraits. With a retro approach to colors and details, Mohammed’s work does not aim to convey a message, rather he invites the viewer to admire his work at their own accord.

Self-taught Emirati photographer, Fatima Mohamed reflects her fascination of Emirati culture in her work. She is also one of the few designated photographers at Expo 2020 Dubai who are capturing the monumental event. Also, on display are works of Khulood Ghanim, an Emirati interior designer and architect who shares the appeal of urban landscapes and designs found around the country.

Other exhibitors include Abdulla Albuainain presenting his collection of natural landscapes; and Mohamed Alsuwaidi’s collection of urban photography.

Exhibiting her portfolio during the showcase is Mary Ann Buyo, a budding photographer encouraging visitors to appreciate the enduring passion and motivation behind her work. She believes all it requires is a bit of motivation to ignite the passion.

Abdulla Hasan Albuainain, a passionate Emirati photographer inspired by moments of light, attempts to tell the story of light and time as he explores the beauty of colors. He aims to present their existence through his lens. Whereas Mohamed Alsuwaidi a celebrated photographer was recently awarded 3rd prize in Hamdan International Photography Award (HIPA) will be exhibiting his works uncovering the gems around the country. Other photographers who will be exhibiting are Shamma Musabbeh Alkaabi, Marisa Cahue Saad, Mohamed Mohsen, Salmah Almansoori, Nawf Naser Shamlan and Ritik Dube.

The community is invited to visit and experience the magic of these captivating images till Wednesday, 16th March between 10am and 8pm at Cloud Spaces in Yas Mall.
